those students who would like to boost
their studies.
We aim to provide community
education programmes in our local
neighbourhoods, and to help identify
talented children and give them the
opportunity to realise their potential.
Education for pupils at Great Ormond Street Hospital began with one teacher in 1951.

that will offer financial support to
families who may not otherwise be
able to send their children to
independent schools.

Scholarships
The best minds deserve the best
educational opportunities regardless
of their backgrounds. Educate advises
on the scholarships currently
available in the UK, offering support
to applications and exams.
The Educate Trust will also work
with top day and boarding schools
to offer our own bursaries.
A surprisingly large number of schools offer swimming scholarships, including Plymouth College, which has 39 children receiving up to 50% off the boarding fees.
